Release Date: May 9, 2017
Brock Badd is everything except bad. He’s sexy, sweet, strong, and every other good thing I never thought I wanted in a man. I always thought I needed the real bad boys, the ones that screw you senseless and pull your hair and aren’t there to talk about it in the morning.
I’ve always been a one-night stand kind of girl, and sometimes I wouldn’t even stick around for a full night. Brock was supposed to be a one-night stand—that’s how it started out, at least. Only, what was supposed to be a fun one-time-only hookup with a hot local guy ended up with me discovering Brock’s potency six different ways by breakfast.
That was all it took. One night with Brock, and I was hooked. But hooked doesn’t mean ready for a relationship.
That’s what he wants. And deep down, I’m starting to fear that’s what I want too.
I’m just not sure I’m ready for it.
I mean, he’s the literal epitome of tall, dark, and handsome, plus he’s a pilot…with a six-pack and perfect hair and a smile to melt me from the inside out. How’s a girl supposed to resist that? I couldn’t. I can’t. I’ve tried, but I keep going back for more.
I’ve got it bad, real BADD.

Never has Badd felt so good…
I met Badd brother Brock in the previous books, but I
really got to know him in Badd to the Bone. While he’s one of the more laid back, polite brothers, it doesn’t apply to the bedroom. That seems to be something all the brothers have in common…sigh. They are so good looking, they have women chasing after them, giving them plenty of experience at their disposal when the right one finally comes along to reap all the benefits. Well, except for the one Badd brother. He’s saving himself, for someone special, that we both can’t wait to meet.
Brock is a pilot. He does aerial acrobatics, or he did, before he came home to help his brothers run the family bar and grill. His pilot’s license comes in handy since the object of his affection doesn’t live near him. She insisted that they were just bedroom buddies, but he wants more. Not that he’d admit that to her, knowing that she would run. While he might not know all the details of her past, he knows that she is not comfortable talking about herself, so he doesn’t push.
I met her in a previous book in the series. But, since the author didn’t share her name in the synopsis, I’ll keep it to myself. Let’s just say that she’s small but sassy. She’s feisty and determined to have fun, but on her terms. Never giving too much of herself. She’s never wanted a boyfriend, choosing to leave a trail of disappointed lovers behind. However; this Badd boy is addictive and she just can’t bring herself to cut him loose. She knows he wants more, but that’s not her style. She has her reasons. She hopes he will back off and enjoy the now without pushing for more. If he does, she might have to give him up.
I’m a sucker for broken characters and you can’t get much more broken than she is. I was very curious about her history and what caused her to be the way she is. Once the details of her past started coming out, her behavior made a lot more sense. I was cheering for Brock, encouraging him to break through the barriers she has up, hoping for a breakthrough. Hoping that he would be able to soften her heart and change her mind. But she’s stubborn. At times she had me and him ready to throw in the towel. But he’s Badd to the bone and he doesn’t give up easy…
I enjoyed this third installment in the series very much and after reading a preview of the next book, I’m even more excited to get my hands on it. I’m so glad there are eight Badd brothers, so that I have more to look forward to as the series continues to evolve. The author leaves sneak peeks of what’s in store for readers, sprinkled throughout, teasing and thrilling us. I turned the last page smiling and excited at the direction things are moving. I can’t wait! The line forms here…
