Crank (The Gibson Boys, #1) by Adriana Locke
Series: The Gibson Boys, #1
Author: Adriana Locke
Release Date: November 10, 2017
This is one mistake Sienna Landry can’t buy
her way out of.
As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that
she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble.
It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the
downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.
The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and
gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s
ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.
He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as
he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep,
brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why
won’t he give in?
The damage to Walker’s truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of
them, ending with truths that rock Sienna’s world. Nothing can fix her broken
heart except the love of a man that won’t, maybe even can’t, love her back.

Adriana has started a new series for the Gibson boys and holy smokes it's amazing! She incorporated the Landry Series and this new family! It's incredible to see characters from one series interacting with new ones. This story is about starting fresh, opening up to new adventures, and love for family.
Sienna recently moved from Georgia to Illinois to start a business venture with her friend, Delaney. She is trying to be less dependent on her huge family and more on herself. She wants to spread her wings and see where it takes her. Sienna has a heart of gold and loves to help out others.
Walker is the owner of Crank, it's an automotive repair shop. He is extremely broody and loves to work himself ragged. Walker has a lot happen in his life leading him down the path he has taken. He is loyal to a fault when it comes to his family.
Sienna and her friend, Delaney, decide to go out on the town one night to celebrate finishing a huge project they did. It leads to Sienna swinging a baseball bat and it smashing into Walker's truck. Walker and his family see this and he isn't happy. Sienna offers to pay for the damage, but Walker being Walker tells her to show up to his shop. She ends up working at the shop to repay the damages. His shop hasn't been so clean and tidy since when his mother helped his father at it. Sienna sees something in Walker and she tries to get to know him. Walker tries to build his walls up higher because he is afraid he is going to ruin her.
Can Sienna get Walker to open up? Will Walker tell Sienna why he is trying so hard to stay away? Do they make it work in the end?
This first book in the series was awesome! It had me hooked from the very beginning, all the way to the end. I loved the way Sienna is with Walker and trying to pry him open. I highly recommend this book.
