Fate is the 5th and final book in the Trinity series by Audrey Carlan and can be read as a standalone.
This book was heartbreaking, but yet such a sweet story. There's nothing like and emotional second chance romance and Fate definitely brought out a ton of emotions.
Kat was injured in a fire and was injured physically and emotionally. Her whole outlook on life and love was changed in a heartbeat. Breaking things off with Carson was the hardest thing she's done, but she felt she had to set him free, she didn't want to be a burden to him.
Carson was heartbroken when Kat broke up with him and the only way he dealt with the pain was with women.
My heart hurt for these two who so clearly belong together.
My favorite thing about this book is just when you thought you figured out the story there was a twist and the drama.
Loved this book and I need to read the rest of this series! Fate is definitely one click worthy
