Magan is a newer author to me. This novella was quite funny. I couldn't stop laughing at the banter between Chris and Mary. Famed is told in a dual POV.

Mary is an actress struggling to get positive social and publicity reviews. It all stems down to a fake sex tape she made with her bodyguard and his boyfriend. She was trying to get rid of her loser boyfriend. Ever since then, she hasn't had very much luck with publicists.

Chris is a hard worker for Tate and Cane. He is waiting for his big break to happen. Chris is trying to move up in the company. He is smart, but very sweet.

Mary is trying to get her name back out there in, but she's struggling. Her manager sets up a meeting with someone from Tate and Cane. When Chris is offered the chance to land an account on his own, he's ecstatic. But then he learns it's with Mary James, the actress with a sex tape. He knows she is having trouble with keeping publicists. Mary and Chris meet for dinner. He gets a brilliant idea of making Mary his fake girlfriend.

Can Chris be the one to save Mary? Will Mary let it go on being fake? Do they each get what they want?

I loved the chemistry between Mary and Chris. You could really feel it come off the pages as you read! Great novella.

T. Gephart has never been on my reading radar before, but she is now! This novella, even though it was short, was incredible and a great read.

Sarah is gaining a promotion at Tate and Cane, but it comes as a partnership. Something's she not prepared for or happy about. She has always worked hard and was counting on becoming someone. She is feisty!

Kyle has been the type of guy who plays hard, but works harder. He commands respect in a boardroom and it's given. Kyle recently moved from Chicago to New York City.

Sarah and Kyle met a few months back in Las Vegas, when he agrees to be her stand in husband for one night. They never really did get married, but they did like to pretend. They both returned to their normal lives, only for them to meet again. They both are paired up to work together at Tate and Cane. Kyle is still pinning for Sarah. He tries to get to break and go out with him again. But Sarah is more concerned with him leaving, so she can have the job to herself.

Do Sarah and Kyle work and excel together? Or will one of them leave? Can Kyle prove to Sarah he wants more?

I loved this quirky novella! It was short, but filled with passion, add some funny banter, and you get a great story.

Kelly has always been a must read whenever she has something new come out. And this novella was amazing! I literally couldn't put it down. This one was hilarious and fiery work romance.

Saylor recently moved to New York City to start a new job as a marketing research analyst. She is feisty and worked hard at her job. She left her old job and home in Seattle because her ex-boyfriend couldn't grasp they weren't together anymore.

Mason is in charge of research at Tate and Cane. He had come from Chicago for the job recently. He is very arrogant and quite mouthy. He gets what he wants, most of the time.

Saylor is lost trying to find her new place of employment. While following the directions her friend gave her, she runs into a man and spills her hot tea all over him. The man was very mad and started spouting off about it. When she finally makes her to Tate and Cane, she discovers the man is her new boss, Mason. Fearing that she may quit, Mason asks for a do-over. Saylor has been given her first job and she starts with such fire, but soon discovers Mason is hard to work for.

Will Mason and Saylor be able to work together? Can Mason control his mouth at work? Does Saylor stay at Tate and Cane?

This novella was hilarious with the funny and quite foul mouthed Mason. Saylor provided a balance to the story. This is a definite must read if you are looking for a office romance and a quick read.

Still, turning my mother’s opinion around can’t be that hard, can it?

There are many other issues, but according to my new wife, those are minor compared to the biggest one—she says I will never be able to accept being tied down.

Don’t worry—I got this one. I intend to prove to her in no uncertain terms that being tied up, down, or horizontal is just what this Upper East Sider needs.

Kim is new to me, but I need to go back and read her prior stuff, including Toxic, Blow, and Crush. Because these characters had me wanting more. It was hilarious and the story flowed very well.

James was the eternal bachelor, extremely wealthy, and incredibly hot. He is well connected in the New York society. James knows what he wants and always gets it.

Lindsay is a supermodel, so she's extremely gorgeous with a killer body. She still is extremely smart and worked very hard to get where she is. She also is very flirtatious.

James and Lindsay meet at a nightclub. It's an instant connection, which then leads them to Las Vegas for the night. Add in some alcohol and then some not so thought things happen, like James and Lindsay getting married. But James doesn't know how to stay with one person for forever I does he.

Can Lindsay makes James see they belong together? Will James show Lindsay he is committed to their marriage? Do they last?

This novella, although short, was perfect! I couldn't put it down! I had to see if James and Lindsay stuck it out or if James screwed it up.

Adriana has always captured my interest with her books. This novella was just what I needed! It was quirky, light hearted, and had a bit a fire with the two main characters.

Carver is currently the president of Jones and Gallum. He has always looked up to his father who was once in charge and part owner on the Jones side. Carver is constantly working and trying to come up with ways to make the company better.

Amity, the daughter of Gallum, the other half of Jones and Gallum, is back in New York City. She had recently left her job at a Fortune 500 company, where she was relentless as boss.

Carver recently learns that his CEO is stepping down from his position and he wants it. During a boardroom meeting, he discovers that Gallum's daughter, Amity is also up for the CEO position. Carver and Amity grew up together, but time has come between them. As they both try to impress the board why they should be the CEO, the chemistry also starts to rise between them.

Who becomes the CEO of Jones and Gallum? Does Amity decide New York City isn't home anymore for her? Can Carver open up his heart to her?

This book was great! I loved the passion these two shared for the company their fathers built. If you are looking for a quick, light read, I highly recommend it!

Mandi has such a way with words and her current novella was hard to put down. I had to know what was going to happen to Fannin and Jasper.

Fannin is an employee at Tate and Cane. She is currently vying for a promotion. The only problem is that she has to work with her ex-boyfriend, who's about to marry her stepsister.

Jasper is an insanely hot bartender at the Iron Flask. He has tattoos, a beard, and a Scottish accent. Jasper is known for getting any woman he wants into his bed. One thing about him, is he extremely genuine.

Fannin and her team are at the Iron Flask doing research on them. Her friends bring up the fact she is going to her stepsister and ex-boyfriends wedding alone. Fannin could care less about going alone, but Jasper feels different about it. Especially after meeting said ex-boyfriend. Jasper offers to be her plus one. The spark that ignites between them is off the charts HOT!

Does Fannin just use Jasper for the wedding? Or will Jasper convince her that it should be more? What has Fannin gotten herself into?

I loved this novella! Jasper and his hot alpha, bearded self, Fannin doesn't have the will power to resist him! I know I couldn't! Definitely a must read for a quick read. I hope Mandi has more in store for this couple!

This was my first experience with reading Natasha and she definitely peaked my interest. This novella is about a man falling for his best friends little sister. I've always loved the forbidden romance stories and she nailed it!

Lexi is recently single and about to embark on a trip she has had planned for a while. Her ex-boyfriend was actually married and she needed a break from being in New York City.

Bradley is from Great Britain and has come to work for his company in New York City. He is known womanizer and his accent doesn't help. Bradley is also extremely successful in the business world and very wealthy.

Lexi is about to head to Las Vegas, to forget her lying ex-boyfriend, when she literally runs into her brother's best friend, Bradley. He advises her that he too is traveling to Las Vegas. He doesn't see his best friends little sister, he sees a drop dead gorgeous woman. They end up sitting next to each other and sparks start to fly.

Does what happen in Vegas,stay in Vegas? Will Lexi admit that she has always held a place for Bradley in heart since she was young? Can Bradley stay true to his best friend or will he break down for Lexi?

This novella was cute. I loved that have known each other a long time, but still don't really know everything about one another. Recommended for a quick summer read.
