I've been excited to jump into the Rumbin' Knights series after meeting the Knight brothers in the Iron Fury MC series. Lincoln is the oldest, but they are all broken to some degree.

The author really tortured me in the telling of this story. She doled out bits at a time using alternating past/present and multiple POV. The flashbacks/memories were how I learned about what caused her to seek out the Knight brothers and the bikers. She asked for their help, without giving them many details. Nor did she give them to me. Nope, we all had to wait as the story unfolded painfully slow, and my imagination went crazy with the possibilities.

What was obvious from the beginning was that Lincoln is a gorgeous alpha asshole who had women falling all over themselves to be treated like shit for the privilege of riding or sucking his cock. He is rude and arrogant and totally unapologetic. And yes, I still liked him.

She was exactly what he needed. Someone with some sass who would tell him to "eat a dick" when he needed to hear it. She didn't fall all over herself to please him, she let her claws come out and went toe to toe with him. It was HOT and I had so much fun waiting for the explosion every time they were together.

Unfortunately, she is as broken as he is. As they delve deeper and deeper into her past the pain overflows and bleeds into her recently rebuilt life. Will she be strong enough to fight for her dreams? She tries to keep her secrets and her shame hidden, but that never work does it?

I can't wait to spend more time with these brothers. One of them, Slater, is a patched member of the motorcycle club so that means I get the best of both worlds in this series. The line forms here...
