Jacob is a truly talented author. He can write so many different types of stories. In his sports romance though, he wrote with a passion for the sport of football. It’s told in a dual POV and the main characters couldn’t be more different.
Brady is quarterback for a college football and the all around playboy. He knows he is hot, that the girls will do anything for him. Brady has the chance to go pro, if he plays his cards right. He doesn’t do relationships and has never had an actual girlfriend.
Harlow is college student, studying to get her psychology degree. She pours everything into her schoolwork and just recently her roommate has made her start to go out and experience life too.
Brady and Harlow first meet when she runs into him at a party and spills her drink all over him. Brady is enthralled with her because she is the first woman who didn’t openly hand herself over to him. Harlow has watched Brady from a far, but never thought he would fall for her. Brady eventually whittles her down and she agrees to go on a date with him. They are completely opposite, yet it works so well for them. Things are going really well for them, until the completely unthinkable is thrown at Harlow.
Can Brady’s playboy days be done? Is Harlow the one to tame him? What will happen when Harlow’s world is rocked?
I love the banter and the chemistry of these characters. Brady and Harlow really did “shine” in this book. If you are looking for a sports romance, then look no more! I recommend reading it!
