Make Music With Me (Straight Wicked, #1) by Kristine Allen
Title: Make Music With Me
Series: Straight Wicked, #1
Author: Kristine Allen
Genre: Rockstar Romance
Release Date: September 16, 2018
I’m the lead singer for Straight Wicked, the hottest rock band in years.
Every woman wants to be my muse. But that position is already filled. Lust, love, heartbreak, anger – every word I sing is for her.
Except she doesn’t belong to me.
She used to be my brother’s woman, but now she’s drowning in grief and I’m soullessly plotting.
I want her to see me.
I want her to hear my music.
I want her to know my words.
I should feel guilty for what I’m about to do, but I don’t. She needs to move on and I need to fucking breathe again. I’m a substitute for no one. My name is Levi MacKenzie and I’m in love with my brother’s fiancé.

“So yeah, I’m pretty sure I’ve been in love with my brother’s fiancée since the first time I heard her voice call me by my brother’s name.”
Make Music With Me is my first Kristine Allen read. She’s a new-to-me author who convinced me to check her out by writing one of my favorite tropes, rockstar romance. What can I say, I’m addicted, a virtual groupie who can’t get enough.
While I found the synopsis to be intriguing, there’s so much more than what that glimpse revealed. I’m sure I looked like a gasping guppy with my mouth open in surprise while reading some of the shocking revelations. The rest of the time I was either worrying, smiling, laughing or blushing, in no particular order.
As I expected, I fell for all of the band members. They are all gorgeous and hilarious. Their witty banter is very entertaining and I’m looking forward to spending more time with each of them. I blazed through this story lightning fast because I was so invested I could not put it down. Then, when I reached the end too quickly I wanted to turn back time and read slower to make it last longer…sigh. On the positive side of being late to the party, there is more goodness to look forward to, and I can go one-click now without waiting for the next release. The line forms here…
