I’m so damn glad to have discovered this author. I started with her most recent series and now I’m working my way through her backlist. Every damn one of them is amazing so far and I’m addicted to ‘the boys’. I can’t tell you how excited I was when I got to the end of the Broken Trilogy and learned that it leads right into a spinoff, the Blackstone Series. You can bet your last dollar that I will be jumping right into Honor as soon as possible. I guarantee that once you meet them, you will be #TeamBlackstone and just as obsessed as I am.

Mended is the epic finale to a tragic but beautiful story. Savannah is my hero. She’s been through so much and still managed to retain her sense of humor and her ability to love. I find that admirable considering how broken she is after her traumatic experience with being abducted and held prisoner. Most would have checked out and given up, but she fought and survived until she was rescued.

He is her reward for time served and proof that love exists. He ticks all her boxes. But, sometimes love isn’t enough. She’s tired of lies and betrayal and she needs truth and trust in her life. She went from her father’s home to her prison to a safe house. She never got the chance to be normal or to make her own way. She wants to stand on her own two feet and make some decisions, right or wrong, by herself.

Can the broken pieces of her life be mended? Will she ever be able to trust again? Is she strong enough to risk her heart again? Prepare to have your heartstrings pulled…tight.
