This is the first book that I have had the opportunity to read by this author and it will not be my last. I love finding new-to-me authors and Katie does not disappoint. Sex God is book 4 in the All-Stars series, but it can be read as a standalone. Every book in the series can be read this way. I will definitely be finding the time to go back and read the previous three books. I found Katie’s writing to be refreshing, engaging and sexy. Her characters are strong, sassy and a little broken.

Rockstar Austin James has spent some time away from the spotlight and is preparing to launch his solo career.Not one to enjoy the spotlight that stardom brings with it, he relents and agrees to do an exclusive interview with ChatBuzz, but only if the one interviewing him is his best friends, little sister, Mia. Eight years have passed since they last saw one another and it didn’t end well. One extremely heated kiss, a shared meal and shattering words, not meant for Mia’s ears had them going their separate ways. That one kiss has never been far from their thoughts. Now, Austin has the chance to try and make up for being such an asshole to Mia. But when he isn’t so forthcoming with details about his life and he hesitates to answer interview questions, Mia has to wonder what truly happened to make Austin step back from such a lucrative music career with his band.

Mia and Austin are hot, hot, hot together. Their banter is great and Mia knows just how to push Austin’s buttons. The chemistry between the two of them is awesome. No matter how hard they try to fight it, they cannot deny that they still want one another. Now they just have to figure out how that is possible without ruining Mia’s career and making her older brother hate his best friend. When secrets are exposed will MIa be able to deal with the fallout or will it be more than she can bear? Both of these characters are stubborn, hardheaded and driven. Neither is afraid of hard work and they are both determined to make their lives a success, they just need a reminder and a gentle push once in a while.

If you are looking for a quick, sexy, emotion-filled read, with plenty of great secondary characters, then this is the book for you. Katie has a way of drawing the reader in from the first few pages and you will not want to put the book down. Easily read in just a few hours, find a comfortable chair, grab your favorite drink and snack and dive into Sex God, you won’t be disappointed.
