There are a million reasons why I need to stop thinking about Taylor D'Angelo naked.
She's too young for me, for starters.
She's too ambitious.
She's my job.
Romance was the last thing on my mind when I agreed to look into her stalker as a favor.
Now, she's all I can think about--and in every position I can imagine.
I'm not the only one obsessing.
The threats against her are intensifying along with our connection.
If I give in, if I let our bodies take over, it could draw her stalker out.
Our passion could save her.
Or it could destroy us both.
Meet Mr. August - He'll do anything to protect her.

"A girl never you knows and tells."
Another awesome installment in the Man of the Month series, but this time I enjoyed a heavy dose of suspense with my cocktail at The Fix on Sixth bar. And let me tell you, when these women get together you can expect some cocktales. I'm really enjoying this series and the awesome cast of characters that continues to grow with each story.
Shake It Up was a delightful mix of sex and suspense that had me all-in, ready to help them catch a stalker. While at the same time, I was kinda feeling like a stalker myself, well maybe more like a 'peeping tom' as I peeked in on them. Let's just call it surveillance, shall we? (wink-wink)
I shamelessly enjoyed every second of the buildup as he struggled with his intense attraction to her. Let me assure you that Landon was on the case, and he didn't bother going undercover. Nope, he wasn't shy. And I didn't close my mental eyes either. He was determined to protect her, I guess he decided that shielding her with every naked inch of his body was the way to go. It works for me.
I assure you that you won't be disappointed by Mr. August, he's all that and has a badge to go with it. And now that I've read the epilogue that always includes a teaser for the upcoming installment I've decided to not even leave the bar. I'll just hang out here at The Fix and wait for the next contest now that I know who will be strutting their stuff down the runway next. The line forms here...
