I close my eyes and allow my body to simply react.

It’s been too long.

It seems as if recently I’ve overthought everything—every action…word…everything—between Paul and me. The process is exhausting, and I’m too tired to continue. I don’t know what will happen over the next ten days. All I know is that I want what’s in front of me.

Aleatha, you amaze me! This book pulled me in and wouldn’t let me out. It was so immensely intense and had me questioning everything! It’s told in a dual POV and I believe it truly helps tell the story. It’s about a marriage, built on lust and could end so easily based on not really knowing one another.

Jenn and Paul are on the edge of signing divorce papers when the reality of it all hits both of them. They had been seeing a therapist to try and salvage their marriage. She had suggested they go on vacation to see if they could save it. So they decide to go. Jenn has secrets and so does Paul. They are trying figure out how to let each other know. Paul has desires of a more sensual relationship with his wife. Jenn is hesitant because of what her previous relationship was like. Then the “unexpected” happens.

Can they save their marriage? Or is it really over? What secrets do they have?

This book was incredible! I loved how Aleatha put into the fact that you (if you are married) question how well do you know your significant other. It was a page turner and finished in one sitting! Great job Aleatha!
